LCDTerminal (2012)
This project uses a 8051 microcontroller (AT89S52) as a bridge between an UART signal and an alphanumeric 20 columns, 4 lines LCD.
It even supports extended commands, so it can be used in LCD Smartie, for example to monitor the resource usage of a PC.
